The 2004 Audi A6 3.0 Quattro represents a refined blend of German engineering and executive-class comfort. As part of the second-generation A6 (C5), this model was a mid-cycle refresh that emphasized performance, luxury, and Audi’s hallmark Quattro all-wheel-drive system pioneered in their World Rally Championship racers. Power is by a 3.0-liter V6 engine producing 220 horsepower and 221 lb-ft of torque.

The 3.0 Quattro variant came equipped with a 5-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission, allowing manual gear selection. It could accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in approximately 7.2 seconds and reached a top speed of around 138 mph. The suspension system featured a multi-link front and double-wishbone rear setup, enhancing ride quality and cornering stability.

Inside, the A6 offers a premium cabin with leather upholstery, wood trim, dual-zone climate control, and advanced features for its time, including power-adjustable seats and a Bose audio system. Safety was also a priority, with ABS, stability control, and multiple airbags standard.

Built in Germany, the 2004 A6 3.0 Quattro remains a fine example of Audi’s commitment to performance and luxury in the early 2000s. As Motor Trend noted the A6 offered “solid four- and six-cylinder engines, Audi’s legendary Quattro all-wheel-drive system, an interior packed with technology, and excellent value.”
