This selection of vehicles is being offered by the SugarCreek collection without reserve. The 14 lots feature premium American classics, as well as wide assortment of European enthusiast cars. The two Buick convertibles will be participating in the 2025 Hot Rod Power Tour, traveling over 1,000 miles and will be available for public preview throughout the tour. * * * “‘Magic carpet ride’ is something of an overused cliché, but in the case of the Bentley Arnage it’s justified… it hits 60 mph in less than six seconds — impressive for a 2.5-tonne monster,” said Britain’s What Car? magazine. The 1999 Bentley Arnage marked a transformative chapter in Bentley’s legacy, ushering in a new era of modern engineering while preserving the brand’s signature opulence. Debuting in 1998 and continuing into 1999, the Arnage was Bentley’s first all-new model in nearly 20 years, developed during a pivotal transition from Vickers ownership to Volkswagen’s acquisition.
Named after the famed Arnage corner at Le Mans, the car initially featured a BMW-sourced 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine. This version, dubbed the Arnage Green Label, was lauded for its refined performance and contemporary efficiency. Later in 1999, Bentley reintroduced its legendary 6.75-liter V8 — extensively updated and turbocharged — in the Arnage Red Label, appealing to traditionalists who valued the marque’s heritage powertrain.
Inside, the Arnage offered a sumptuous blend of handcrafted wood veneers, rich leather upholstery, and cutting-edge electronics, embodying the fusion of tradition and innovation. As a flagship model, the 1999 Arnage laid the foundation for Bentley’s 21st-century revival, reaffirming its stature in the world of ultra-luxury automobiles.
