Description
OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE
Huntsville, Alabama — or “Rocket City,” as we know it — is home to NASA rocket-propulsion research and development. Nothing quite encapsulates the launch and excitement of the region as this out-of-world collection of cars including movie cars and tributes, desirable classics, and a rocket truck itself. 3… 2… 1… These cars are ready for blastoff, and all will be launched to new homes and garages as all lots are presented with NO RESERVE.

Much like its competitors from Ford and GM, Dodge built cargo vans in the 1960s. And while the A-vans were useful as cargo machines, they left much to be desired on the comfort front. So in 1971, Dodge released the B-vans: B100, B200, and B300. The standard B-vans had longer 109- and 127-inch wheelbases than the A-vans (to say nothing of the massive, 212-inch-wheelbase Maxivans), and while they were only five inches longer, more efficient layouts and more car-like cabins made them much more spacious and comfortable.
The 1976–78 Dodge vans were refreshed, with upgrades that included suspension changes for a smoother ride, an optional four-speed manual transmission, and big-inch V8s to go along with the six- and small eight-cylinder options. Their interiors were also upgraded, with better seating, better materials, and more effective controls and HVAC systems. And soon, governmental and municipal agencies began buying B-vans like the 1981-up B150 in droves.
This 1984 Dodge Ram B150 is said to have been used by the Atlanta Police Department for prisoner transport. It’s powered by a V8 engine, shifted by an automatic transmission, and comes in an arresting white over red paint scheme.
