The Mustang Shelby GT350 was built to dominate on ramps and road courses alike: Its aerodynamic body wore a low-lift front end featuring a sculpted fascia, and a front splitter with vertical winglets that efficiently flowed air around the body. Combined with wider aluminum fenders, a lower aluminum hood with an air extractor, and a unique rear diffuser, the GT350’s design was both highly effective, and very beautiful.

Mustang engines have always punched above their weight class. But in 2015, Ford created a naturally aspirated powerplant to rule them all. Its code name? Voodoo. Displacing 5.2L and possessing an exotic flat-plane crankshaft, this hand-built V8 made a stunning 526 horsepower, and revved to a screaming 8250-rpm redline.

Backing up that high-strung mill was a stiff chassis, which allowed the unique, lightweight suspension utilizing electronically controlled MagneRide shocks to do its job — which it did beautifully: Enthralled Car and Driver testers exclaimed, “The GT350 clicked off a zero-to-60-mph time of 4.2 seconds and ran the quarter-mile in 12.4 at 118 mph…The 70-to-0 panic stop took 153 feet…and on the skidpad, the Mustang’s lateral adhesion measured 1.02 g. Today’s Mustang is a special car. But the Shelby GT350 has the Voodoo, and it is magical.”

This example is finished in Race Red with contrasting black side stripes and black 19” wheels. Inside is Ebony cloth upholstery, with the odometer showing approximately 5,200 miles. This is one of only 6,173 GT350s built in 2017, and has been optioned with a Black racing stripe and a painted Black roof. The car's odometer now shows approximately 5,200 miles.
