If you own a spotless, 12-year-old motorcycle with only 13 miles on the odometer — and you store it safely inside your house — it’s probably a special bike. And this one is. The 2013 Triumph Bonneville T100 Steve McQueen Edition is a limited-production motorcycle created to honor the legendary actor and motorcycle enthusiast known as “The King of Cool.” Based on the classic Bonneville T100 platform, this special edition was inspired by the Triumph TR6 Trophy that McQueen famously rode in the 1963 film The Great Escape. 

Only 1,100 were produced worldwide, making it a highly collectible model, and this one is No. 928. The bike features a distinctive Matte Khaki Green paint scheme, reminiscent of military motorcycles, with stencil-style Triumph logos on the tank and Steve McQueen signature decals on the side covers. 

Mechanically, the bike retained the T100’s 865cc air-cooled parallel-twin engine, producing around 67 horsepower and 51 lb-ft of torque, paired with a five-speed transmission and chain final drive. The bike also included a solo seat, black luggage rack, skid plate, and blacked-out components like the wheel rims, handlebars, and mirrors, to give it a rugged, utilitarian look. 

This edition not only celebrated Triumph’s rich heritage but also paid tribute to Steve McQueen’s enduring influence on motorcycle culture.

Ownership History 

The Texas seller of this 2013 Triumph Bonneville T100 Steve McQueen Edition acquired the motorcycle from its original owner earlier this year and has added zero miles to its current 13. The bike was purchased on 26 September 2012 from European Cycle Sport in Plano, Texas.
