Description
The Pontiac Solstice would provide a fitting final bookend for GM’s performance-oriented Pontiac brand after being in production for five years ending in 2010. The sporting two-seater was available as a coupe or a fun-loving and popular open-air roadster. The car could be ordered in standard trim with a 2.4-liter inline-four-cylinder or in GXP trim, such as this example, with the turbocharged variant featuring a 57-percent increase in power. Commemorating the overall class victory in the 2007 SCCA T2 championship, Pontiac created a special edition GXP with a unique paint scheme and interior. Much to the disappointment of fans of performance everywhere, Solstice production, along with the Pontiac brand, ceased in 2010, but the spirit of this exciting, performance-oriented brand is still alive with the Solstice GXP today.

Ownership History
According to the accompanying CARFAX Vehicle History Report, the original dealer retained this 2008 Solstice GXP SCCA T2 Champion Edition until it was first sold in January 2010. The car remained with its original owner until the selling dealer acquired it in March of this year.
