Description
The 997.1-generation Porsche 911 GT3 RS occupies a special place among modern classic collectibles. Built in limited numbers with deep motorsport roots, the RS was conceived as a sharper, lighter, and more track-focused evolution of the already formidable GT3. For 2007, Porsche produced fewer than 2,000 GT3 RS examples worldwide, with just 411 allocated for North America—and a reported 96 finished in Black, making this one of the rarer RS configurations delivered to stateside buyers.
This 2007 Porsche 911 GT3 RS, showing approximately 18,700 miles, is finished in Black with striking Orange wheels and matching graphic accents. Power comes from a naturally aspirated 3.6‑liter Mezger flat‑six—a legendary engine celebrated for its 8,400‑rpm redline, razor‑sharp throttle response, and deep motorsport lineage. Paired exclusively with a 6‑speed manual gearbox, the RS delivers a raw, analog driving experience that many enthusiasts regard as the quintessential Rennsport model within Porsche’s storied racing heritage.
Factory equipment includes Black Leather Sport Seats, Sport Chrono Package, Bi‑Xenon Headlamp Package, and a leather‑wrapped storage compartment lid with model logo. The car is reportedly unmodified aside from paint protection film (PPF) applied to the front of the vehicle.
Service history includes recent maintenance such as a battery replacement, brake fluid flush, oil and filter changes, and replacement of all four tires. With its low mileage and rare specification, this 997.1 GT3 RS represents an opportunity to acquire one of Porsche’s most celebrated driver-focused models.
This 2007 Porsche 911 GT3 RS is now offered by the selling dealer in Florida with a CARFAX vehicle history report, owner's manuals, and a clean Montana title.
