Description
OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE
Its quad headlights, low roof, and ultra-long proportions may make it look like a throwback, but the X350-generation of the Jaguar XJ was a decidedly modern car at its 2003 model-year introduction. Its lightweight fully aluminum construction, extending to its body panels, sits over a luxurious interior that blends old-world materials with high-tech modern conveniences.
The flagship Super V8 paired Jaguar's top powertrain with its most luxurious interior.
Underhood, it features a 400-hp version of the automaker's supercharged 4.2-liter V8, which delivers power to the rear wheels via a ZF 6-speed automatic transmission. Opening its doors reveals soft-grain leather upholstery with contrasting piping, as well as such luxuries as 16-way power-adjustable front seats, 6-way power-adjustable outboard rear seats, deep carpeting protected by lambswool floor mats, a 320-watt Alpine audio system with Bluetooth connectivity, and a pair of 6.5-inch screens for rear-seat passengers.
This XJ-based Super V8 was first delivered to Alpine Jaguar of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Acquired by its current owner in 2020 following extended ownership as part of a private collection, it now shows just under 93,000 miles. Service under current ownership included fluid changes and installation of Arnott rear springs, while the current owner has also had the headliner replaced and acquired a set of BBS-built 20-inch "Sepang" alloy wheels, often seen on the XJR of the same generation.
This 2006 Jaguar XJ Super V8 is now offered at no reserve with recent service records, owner's manuals, a window sticker, a spare set of "Sepang" alloy wheels, a clean CARFAX Vehicle History Report, and a clean Michigan title in the seller's name.

Additional Information
From the seller:
"The car was acquired in outstanding cosmetic and mechanical condition from a very large private car collection, in which it was housed in a climate-controlled private airplane hangar, regularly serviced by the collection’s in-house mechanic and reserved for the use of visiting guests. Immediately upon acquisition, the consignor replaced the air suspension with Arnott springs for added reliability and sportier driving dynamics, fully replaced the interior headliner, and conducted a full service and preventative maintenance with a Jaguar mechanic specializing in X350s, all of which totaled about $8,500 in sorting work.
"Aside from regularly scheduled fluid changes, the car has required very limited mechanical work, owing to its excellent original condition. I replaced the rotors and repaired a coolant leak but otherwise the car has always been driven locally for about 3,000 miles/year, and always garage kept. On a handful of occasions, it was driven on longer, four-hour drives and always performed well. Not only does the car have both available options (Sirius satellite radio and chromed five-spoke wheels, currently on winter tires), it retains all its books, original window sticker, two sets of carpets (including luxurious lambswool set), Sirius remote, both keys, and also includes a set of very rare and desirable “Sepang” 20-inch wheels, produced by BBS specifically for the X350 chassis and the XJR in particular.
