The fifth-generation Mercedes-Benz SL blended luxury, performance, innovation, and styling into an unforgettable machine. Introduced in 2001, the R230-chassis SL 500 left the R129’s angular look behind for a timeless, provocatively curved design of its signature long hood, short rear deck look.
