Description
It's said that in 1936, first lady Eleanor Roosevelt boldly stated, “America is all about speed.” And by 2003, shaking up the high-performance hierarchy was as easy as buying a Corvette Z06 — an American icon with supercar performance baked in.
The C5 Z06 was motivated by the LS6, a factory hot-rodded LS1. This 5.7-liter, 10.5 to 1 compression mill wore high-flow cylinder heads, a high-lift camshaft, and a revised intake that combined to make 405 horsepower. That V8 was connected to a 6-speed manual geared for quick acceleration, and lived in a hardtop body that utilized a titanium exhaust system and thinner windshield glass to tip the scales at only 3,118 pounds — 100 pounds lighter than a Corvette coupe.
So when the high-strung LS6 sang to its 6,500-rpm redline, Car and Driver took notice: “Zero to 60 mph your thing? The new car scampers there in four seconds flat, only a tenth behind the four-wheel-drive 911 Turbo.” And thanks to the track-ready FE4 suspension and sticky tires, the lightweight Z06 could also hold 1g around a road course.
This 2003 Corvette Z06 is reportedly one of 1,708 finished in Millennium Yellow, was purchased by its current owner in 2003, and has only traveled 5,204 miles.

Ownership History
The accompanying CARFAX Vehicle History Report places this two-owner 2003 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 in Minnesota from new.
The seller states, “This low mileage (5,204) 22 year old vehicle is as nice or better than it was coming off of the showroom floor. The vehicle is an all stock, factory original that has been impeccably taken care of. I know of no paint chips, dents, or scratches. The paint and interior is in at least factory condition or better.
“It runs and drives wonderfully. The car has always had inside heated storage. It has never been driven in the rain, or even been out in the rain, and certainly never in snow. The seating is extremely comfortable and of course it is fun to drive!”
