Description
The 2002 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am WS6 Collector Edition marked the end of an era for the iconic American muscle car. Released as a limited-edition sendoff for the fourth-generation Firebird, it celebrated 35 years of Firebird performance and style. Approximately 2,400 Collector Editions were produced, making it a sought-after model among enthusiasts.
This special edition featured a striking Sunfire Yellow paint with multi-tone graphics, exclusive 17-inch wheels, and Collector Edition badging. Under the hood, it packed the potent 5.7-liter LS1 V8 engine, delivering 325 horsepower and 350 lb-ft of torque, paired with either a six-speed manual or four-speed automatic transmission. The WS6 performance package added a Ram Air induction system, low-restriction exhaust, upgraded suspension, and a functional twin-scoop hood – enhancing both performance and aggressive styling.
This Collector Edition Coupe has remained with its first owner in California and now has 89k miles. The 5.7-liter LS1 sends power to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission, and an upgraded stereo is linked to the factory head unit and remote 12-disc CD changer.
