Description
OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE
The 2002 Hummer H1 represents the final year of full-scale production before General Motors began shifting the legendary, military-born machine toward a more mainstream, consumer-focused brand identity. Originally engineered by AM General as the High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV) for the armed forces, the H1 entered the civilian market in 1992, quickly earning a reputation for its uncompromising durability and off-road dominance.
By 2002, the H1 had gained notable refinements without sacrificing its signature toughness. Buyers could choose from several body configurations, including the four-door hardtop, soft top, and wagon (as seen here). Under the hood, it housed a 6.5L turbocharged diesel V8 generating 195 horsepower and 430 lb-ft of torque, paired with a four-speed automatic transmission. Its hardware remained thoroughly rugged, featuring full-time four-wheel drive, portal axles for exceptional ground clearance, and a Central Tire Inflation System (CTIS) that allowed drivers to adjust tire pressure while driving.
Despite its utilitarian heritage, the 2002 model year introduced more creature comforts, such as leather seating and enhanced sound insulation, blending luxury with the H1’s signature, go-anywhere capability.
This H1 Wagon is finished in silver, has been customized with a brush guard, roof rack, and light bar, and wears 17-inch Rockstar wheels sporting massive 38-inch tires. It is offered now offered by the selling dealer with a clean CARFAX history report, some spare parts and a clean Florida title.
