Reviving the spirit of the original 1955 model, the 2002 Thunderbird launched at the 2001 North American International Auto Show in Detroit with classic design cues such as round headlamps and a clean, sculpted body, while offering contemporary comforts and safety features.

Mechanically, the car was powered by a 3.9‑liter V8 producing 252 horsepower, paired with a five‑speed automatic transmission and rear‑wheel drive, giving it the relaxed yet capable character of a modern luxury cruiser. It came with an insulated power cloth top and was available with an optional removable hardtop, continuing the dual‑top tradition of earlier Thunderbirds.

Finished in Whisper White paint over a two-tone Midnight Black and Full Red Accent interior, this Thunderbird spent time in California before being acquired by the selling dealer in Pennsylvania. All revived T-Birds came well-equipped with a CD changer, automatic climate control, and leather seats, and this example now shows just over 25,000 miles.
