Description
The 1998 Lincoln Mark VIII marked the final year of production for Lincoln’s luxury sport coupe, concluding a six-year run that began in 1993. Built on Ford’s FN10 platform, the Mark VIII featured a sleek, aerodynamic design and advanced technology for its time. It was powered by a 4.6-liter DOHC V8 engine producing 280 horsepower and paired with a four-speed automatic transmission.
The 1998 model received a facelift with smoother front and rear fascias, HID headlights, a neon rear brake light, and an aluminum hood. It came in two trims: the base model and the LSC (Luxury Sport Coupe), which offered firmer suspension and more aggressive styling. As MotorTrend noted in 1996 regarding the facelift, “Forget mistaking this Lincoln for any other coupe after dark. Between the awesome blue-white blast of the HID headlamps and the blazing red stripe of the neon taillamps... the Mark VIII will now stand out when the sun goes down.”
This Mark VIII is a base trim example finished in black over Light Graphite leather upholstery and now has 19k miles. The windows have been tinted, and other features include computer-controlled air suspension, 16” chrome-finished alloy wheels, automatic climate control, and a factory AM/FM stereo linked to a multi-disc changer.

Ownership History
The seller acquired this 1998 Lincoln Mark VIII in December 2024. The accompanying CARFAX Vehicle History Report places this Mark VIII in Missouri, Virginia, and Florida. The report shows in a July 2024 entry that the “Engine/powertrain computer/module” was replaced.
This Mark VIII is offered with a clean Florida title in the seller’s name.
