Description

The long-awaited successor to the “G-Series” Porsche 911 debuted in 1989 wearing form-fitting body-color bumpers and introducing all-wheel drive in Carrera 4 form. Once overlooked in the collector market for its familiar shape, the 964-generation 911 is now properly recognized as a significant development of the air-cooled, rear-engined platform, which would come to an end with the succeeding 993-generation just a few years later. The 3.6-liter flat-six’s smooth and steady power delivery was said to be more predictable than its predecessor, producing 247 horsepower and 229 lb-ft of torque.

Ownership History

This 1993 Porsche 911 was purchased new in San Francisco and remained there with its original owner until 2003.  It was then purchased by the current owner, who transported the car to their residence in the Portland, Oregon area where it has remained since.
