Description

OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE

Originally introduced in 1963 by Kaiser Jeep, the Wagoneer pioneered the concept of a four-wheel-drive vehicle with car-like comfort. By 1989, under Chrysler’s ownership, the Grand Wagoneer retained its classic body-on-frame design and signature woodgrain exterior paneling, continuing the rugged elegance that made it one of America’s most iconic luxury SUVs.

Powered by a 5.9-liter V8 engine paired with a three-speed automatic transmission, the 1989 model offered solid off-road capability alongside upscale features like leather upholstery, air conditioning, power windows, and a premium sound system. It was one of the few vehicles at the time that blended luxury and utility.

Despite its aging platform, the Grand Wagoneer maintained a loyal following due to its timeless design and dependable performance. Today, it stands as a nostalgic symbol of American automotive craftsmanship and the precursor to modern luxury SUVs.

This 1989 Jeep Grand Wagoneer is said to have received refurbishment work that included refinishing the exterior in metallic gray with woodgrain appliqué and reupholstering the seating surfaces in maroon. The exterior features a roof rack and driving lights, and the interior is equipped with a cassette stereo, power-adjustable front seats, and power-operated accessories.
