Description

OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE

The W124 platform is arguably Mercedes’ most successful generation of E-Class. The first-generation official E-Class came in many body styles; the 124 was available as a sedan, two-door coupe, station wagon, two-door convertible, and six-door limousine, it was engineered with a carte blanche, and the result is a smart, comfortable, well thought out car with infinite variability. The full-size offering for Mercedes during the 1980s, every facet of the W124 was engineered to make the 300E the most technologically advanced sedan of its time. The W124’s handsome appearance is due to the most influential Mercedes designer, Bruno Sacco, who was responsible for the most successful generation of the Stuttgart brand, along with other iconic 1980s Mercedes such as the R129, W201, W140, and W126.

Finished in Champagne Metallic on Palomino MB-Tex, this particular 300E was delivered new to Canada in June 1987, with CARFAX history report ownership data beginning in 1993. The seller acquired it in 2009, and has kept the vehicle in largely factory specification aside from a Pioneer stereo head-unit and trailer hitch receiver. It now shows 190,100 km (~118,122 miles), however the odometer is said to have stopped working roughly 2,000 km ago.

This 300E is now offered with a clean CARFAX history report, owner's manual, maintenance booklet, and a clean New York title in the seller’s name.
