Description
OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE
In 1984, the 300ZX replaced the angular 280ZX with more aerodynamic bumpers and new technology for the next evolution of Nissan’s Z-car. As part of the second‑generation Z31 series, the 1986 model year continued with a 3.0L V6, reflecting Nissan’s shift away from inline‑six engines. Electronic fuel injection and advanced driver aids showcased 1980s innovation. Buyers could choose T‑tops, a 2+2 layout, or performance‑focused trims.
This 1986 300ZX is powered by a naturally aspirated 3.0L V6 paired with a five-speed manual transmission. The body is finished in red with removable tinted roof panels over patterned cloth upholstery. Additional exterior details include pop-up headlights and a black decklid spoiler. Stopping power is provided by disc brakes at each corner, and factory 15” 12-hole alloy wheels feature Z-branded center caps.
This Z31 was acquired by the seller in 2020, and modifications under current ownership consisted of fitting coilover suspension components, a stainless-steel exhaust system, LED headlights and tinted driving lights, rear mud flaps, and a touch-screen head unit linked to an aftermarket subwoofer.
This 1986 Nissan 300ZX is now offered at no reserve with a service manual, handwritten service log, car cover, clean CARFAX Vehicle History Report, and a clean Minnesota title in the seller’s name.
