Description
Some vehicles are simply timeless. Chevrolet’s 1973 – 1991 C/K series trucks could be on that list. Thoroughly redesigned from front to back, the all-new third-generation C/K series of trucks emerged in 1973 and proved to be the longest-lived series in Chevrolet’s history, remaining in production with subtle changes until 1991. The two-wheel drive “C” and four-wheel drive “K” models evolved over those years, and for 1980, they received a single-model-year front-end design with a flatter front grille and square headlights, previewing the 1981 design which would carry the C/K series to the end of production.
Showing 55,807 miles at listing this 1985 C20 pickup was a barn find from a dairy farm in northern Virginia. According to the restorer it spent three decades in the barn until it was discovered and restored. It has its original drive train and documentation from the state of Virginia supports the low mileage and the truck’s absence from service for those decades. With the exception of a six-inch Rough Country lift kit and repaint in the factory colors, it is highly original and has been garage kept since restoration. Amazingly preserved and tastefully updated, timeless never looked so good.
