Description
OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE
The W123-generation Mercedes-Benz 300TD is widely regarded as one of the most durable and iconic wagons ever produced. Introduced in the late 1970s, the 300TD combined Mercedes-Benz’s legendary engineering with practical versatility, earning a reputation for longevity and understated elegance. Powered by the robust OM617 inline-five diesel engine, these wagons were built to last and remain highly sought after by enthusiasts.
This European-market 1982 Mercedes-Benz 300TD is finished in Classic White (737U) over a Black fabric and vinyl interior. Ordered new through Munich, the car was reportedly gifted from the original owner to his daughter in New York as a graduation present while he was stationed in Germany. After relocating to New Mexico, she sold the car to a friend of the seller, from whom it was later acquired.
Power comes from a 3.0-liter OM617 inline-five diesel engine paired with a Euro-market-only 4-speed manual transmission driving the rear wheels. Factory features include a mechanical sliding roof, central locking, and heat-insulating glass with a heated rear window.
This manual transmission-equipped 1982 Mercedes-Benz 300TD is now offered with service records, spare parts, an owner's manual, and a clean New Mexico title in the seller’s name.
