By 1979, the Dolphin lineup included several configurations, typically powered by Toyota’s 2.2L inline-four. Their aluminum-clad camper shells, over cab sleeping area, and efficient four‑cab sleeping area, and efficient four-cylinder powertrains made them appealing to budget‑cylinder powertrains made them appealing to budget‑minded travelers seeking versatility in a small footprint.
