The 1979 model year was the final year of production for the long-running MG Midget roadster, closing out a 18-year run that had made it one of the most beloved entry-level, ultra-light sports cars of its era.

Finished in yellow, this 1979 Midget was acquired by the seller in April 2023 from an estate sale in non-running condition. Following a basic service, the car was brought into driving condition by the seller, though the car remains registered in California as non-operational.

Its 1,493cc inline-four is fed by a single Zenith-Stromberg carburetor, and it is equipped with front disc brakes, 13” Rostyle wheels with trim rings, and a manually operated black convertible soft top.

This 1979 MG Midget is now offered with a clean California title in the seller’s name.
