Description

OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE

“The Caprice Classic is Chevrolet’s answer to Cadillac luxury at a family man’s price.” Motor Trend was impressed with the 1973 Caprice Classic, and for good reason: it marked a significant evolution in Chevrolet’s full-size lineup, and was designed to offer luxury-level features at less cost.

The Caprice Classic introduced a more refined and formal design, with a clean, straight body line giving it a distinctive silhouette. The front end featured a slightly pointed grille and raised hood, while the bumpers were stylish despite a federally mandated five-mph safety design. Inside, the Caprice Classic emphasized comfort and convenience with cloth and vinyl upholstery in a variety of colors, along with a long list of standard and optional features.

Under the hood, the Caprice Classic came equipped with V8s in 350-, 400-, and 454-cubic inch displacements. And while a manual was available, most engines were paired with automatic transmissions for smooth and reliable performance.

This 1973 Caprice Classic Sedan wears beautiful blue paint, is powered by the 400 cu-in V8, and is said to have travelled only 30,886 miles since new!
