Description

OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE

Produced from 1962 through 1980, the MGB Roadster remains the best-selling British sports car of all time and one of the most rewarding classic driving experiences available at any price point. The 1972 model year sits squarely in the chrome-bumper sweet spot, predating the federally mandated changes that would reshape the car's appearance in 1974.

This '72 MGB roadster is presented by the seller as a largely original example wearing an older green lacquer paint job. Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a 1,798cc inline-four fed by a Weber downdraft carburetor in place of the original twin SUs.

The seller states that the convertible soft top, seat covers, and carpet have been replaced, and modifications include 14” alloy wheels, a wood-rimmed steering wheel and wooden shift knob, aftermarket door sills, cup holders, and a cassette radio.

This 1972 MG MGB Roadster is now offered at no reserve in Florida with a clean Illinois title in the seller’s name.
