Description
The 1972 Chevrolet Corvette stands as the last of its kind to wear chrome bumpers at both ends, marking the final year of the classic Stingray aesthetic before federal regulations reshaped the car's appearance. Of the roughly 27,000 examples produced that year, factory engine options ranged from the base 350ci V8 to the high-winding LT-1 and the big-block 454ci LS5.
This example left the factory in Bryar Blue Metallic over a blue vinyl interior and has since modified under current ownership with a fuel-injected LS V8 engine backed by a TREMEC TKO five-speed manual transmission. Additionally, the car features ceramic-coated long-tube headers, 17" Weld Racing forged aluminum wheels, and four-wheel disc brakes.
The car retains vacuum-operated pop-up headlights and color-matched T-top roof panels, while its bucket seats have been replaced with units from a C5-generation Corvette. An aftermarket air-conditioning system has been installed.
This modified 1972 Chevrolet Corvette is now offered with removed stock bucket seats and Rally wheels, T-top storage bags, marketing literature, an owner's manual, and a clean Texas title in the seller's name.

Ownership History
From the seller, “I purchased the car in 2017 from an individual in Carrollton, Texas and decided to swap the 454 for a used LS engine with approximately 50,000 miles. The car is fun to drive and take to car shows, and I have put roughly 2,000 miles on it in the 9 years I have owned it. Now that I’m in my 70’s, it’s time for the car to be enjoyed by a new owner.”
