Description
The 1971 Chevrolet Corvette was the last C3-generation model to offer high-compression big-block engines before emissions regulations forced a significant reduction in power output, making it one of the most sought-after years among collectors.
Signature C3 Corvette features include removable T-top roof panels and vacuum-operated pop-up headlights, and this ‘71 'Vette is equipped with power-assisted brakes and steering, power windows, leather upholstery, and a period-style head unit with Bluetooth.
This '71 Corvette is powered by a carbureted 454ci V8 reportedly overhauled in 2014 and modified with a COMP Cams camshaft, valve lift, and roller rockers. At that time, the three-speed automatic transmission is said to have been rebuilt with a ProTorque torque converter.
Approximately 20,000 miles are reported to have been added to the car since the drivetrain work.
This 1971 Chevrolet Corvette is now offered with New York registration in the seller’s name.
