Description
The Plymouth Satellite was positioned as near the top of the B-body platform trim, second to the Road Runner high-performance variant, making it a perfect candidate for larger engine swaps and styling tributes. Restyled for 1968, the second-generation B-Body lineup continued through the 1970 model year.
Refinished under previous ownership in its blue with white vinyl convertible top, this 1970 Satellite is now badged as a Road Runner and features a replacement carbureted 440ci V8 engine in place of the stock 318ci V8. Options from the factory include an automatic transmission and bench seat interior trimmed in blue vinyl, and its color-matched steel wheels are wrapped in Firestone Indy 500 tires.
The front brakes have been converted from drums to discs, reportedly using parts from a 1974 Road Runner.
This 1970 Plymouth Satellite is now offered with an owner’s manual, multiple keys, removed spare parts, and a clean Indiana title in the seller’s name.
