Description

OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE

Chevrolet’s answer to Ford’s groundbreaking pony car may have arrived two years later, but the wait proved worthwhile. The Camaro quickly proved itself a formidable rival to the Mustang, backed by impressive sales figures. The 1969 model marked the final — and most celebrated — iteration of the first-generation Camaro, featuring bold design updates like squared-off wheel arches, a distinctive ‘V’-shaped grille, vented rear quarter panels, and a sleek rear valance. These enhancements gave the car a more aggressive and modern stance.

Mechanically, much of the Camaro’s proven formula remained intact from the previous year, including a wide range of small- and big-block V8 engines and both manual and automatic transmission options. The 1969 Camaro is widely regarded as the classic fusion of muscle and style — just like the stunning example seen here. But this restored Camaro packs a 383 cu-in stroker V8 with aluminum heads and electronic fuel injection, custom interior and paint, upgraded suspension and brakes, and more — the classic fusion of old school and modern muscle.
