Description
The 1968 Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser was part of Toyota’s durable 40‑Series, introduced in 1960 as a tougher, more refined evolution of the earliest Land Cruiser models. Powered by the reliable F‑Series inline‑six engine, it offered strong low‑end torque suited for demanding terrain. More than 50 years on, the FJ40 continues to be recognized for its reliable off‑road use worldwide.
This 1968 FJ40 was acquired by the seller two years ago and has been refinished in gray over a reupholstered black vinyl interior, and its 3.9L inline-six is equipped with a Holley Sniper electronic fuel-injection system. A three-speed manual transmission and a two-speed transfer case send power to the wheels. The seller reports that the aluminum radiator and fuel injection system were installed under current ownership, during which time approximately 500 miles have been added.
This 1968 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 is now offered with a repair manual and a current Georgia registration in the seller’s name.
