Description
OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE
The 1967 Lincoln Continental Convertible marked the final chapter of an iconic American luxury tradition. Introduced as part of the fourth-generation Continental (1961–1969), the 1967 model carried forward the clean, formal design language created under Elwood Engel, including the signature slab‑sided body and rear‑hinged “suicide” rear doors. What set the convertible apart was its remarkable power-operated system: with a single switch, the deck lid rose, the soft top folded and stowed, and the deck lid closed again, an engineering marvel of over a dozen switches and motors.
By 1967, Lincoln refined the Continental with improved safety features, including an energy‑absorbing steering column. Power came from Lincoln’s massive 462ci V8, producing effortless torque to move the nearly 5,700‑pound convertible with quiet authority. Only 2,276 Continental convertibles were built for 1967, making it one of the rarest postwar Lincolns. When production ended that year, it became the last four‑door convertible offered by an American manufacturer.
This Lincoln has been refurbished in Maroon Metallic over a Silver leather interior and accented with Kelsey-Hayes-style chrome wire wheels.
This 1967 Lincoln Continental Convertible is now represented at no reserve by a Broad Arrow Specialist with owner’s manuals, 1967 Shop Manual, and a clean Indiana title in the current owner's name.
