Description
The 1967 model year brought the Mustang's first major update since its 1964 debut, created to compete with growing muscle‑car rivals and to accommodate larger, more powerful engines. Ford widened and lengthened the body, giving the Mustang a more aggressive stance while preserving its iconic long‑hood, short‑deck proportions. The refreshed interior offered improved comfort, safety features, and upgraded trim options. The 1967 lineup included coupe, convertible, and fastback versions, each offering new customization packages. This model year set the tone for the Mustang’s evolution, blending style, performance, and accessibility in a way that solidified its cultural impact.
This 1967 Mustang Fastback left the factory finished in Vintage Burgundy with a 289ci V8 under its hood paired with a floor-shifted three-speed automatic transmission. The car was initially delivered to Ben Barclay Ford of Monrovia, California, and it reportedly remained in that state until the seller’s acquisition in May 2025.
The car is currently fitted with an Edelbrock intake manifold, brass radiator, power-assisted steering, front disc brakes, Cargar 15” alloy wheels, and tinted windows. Inside, black vinyl upholstery extends from the seating surfaces to the center console and dashboard.
This Mustang Fastback is now offered with a Deluxe Marti Report, owner’s manual, recent service records, and a clean Arizona title in the seller’s name.
