Description
The fourth-generation 1965–70 Chevrolet Impala proved to be incredibly popular, selling hundreds of thousands of cars a year and offering the broadest range of body styles and engine options. By 1967, buyers were being seduced by the new Coke bottle styling, and had a choice of five different body styles including sedans, Sport Sedans, Sport Coupes, convertibles, or station wagons. And customization was available through a variety of power luxury options, exterior colors, interior color schemes, and sport packages.
The Impala Super Sport got its own unique styling, which included black accents on the grille and chrome moldings, sports-styled wheel covers, and SS badging. And standard bucket seats were a comfortable place to control the hydraulic-lifter Turbo-Jet 396 big-block, which thumped out 325 horses and 410 pound-feet of torque to an awaiting manual or automatic transmission.
This clean 1967 Impala SS Convertible is said to have only travelled 76,718 miles since new. Its rebuilt 396 has fewer than 2,000 miles on it, and the car comes with extensive factory documentation and maintenance records.

Ownership History
The consignor states, “This car is a true survivor, it is very clean and very well cared for. It was painted by a previous owner, and wears a newer top. The exchange engine was replaced twelve years and less than 2,000 miles ago, and the original transmission has been recently serviced. The only modifications are new rear springs. It has been garaged since we purchased it.”
