Description
The second-generation Chevrolet C Series trucks, introduced in 1967 and produced through 1972, quickly became icons of American design. Early C10 models stood out with their sleek, car-like styling featuring an extended nose, a refined grille, a streamlined cab, and a flush-mounted tailgate latch. Designed by Harry Bradley, the bold aesthetic was later toned down in favor of a more utilitarian look as the series evolved.
1967 buyers could choose between Fleetside or Stepside beds, as well as short (115-inch) or long (127-inch) wheelbases. Engine choices included inline sixes or a 283- or 327-cubic-inch V8, with a manual or automatic transmission. Various rear axle ratios allowed for further customization.
But what truly set the C10 apart was its comfort. Built on a ladder frame with coil spring suspension, it delivered a smooth, car-like ride. And inside, it offered a surprising array of convenience and power features for the era.
Revolutionary in its time, the early C10 remains a highly sought-after classic today. And this customized 1967 C10 Stepside — with its updated powertrain, killer paint, and one-year-only small rear window — will definitely turn heads at car shows and cruise nights.
