Description
Derived from the Skylark, the 1967 Buick Gran Sport (GS) offered performance wrapped in Buick’s trademark comfort. It was available in three body styles: a sleek two‑door hardtop, a pillarless Sport Coupe, and a convertible, giving buyers a range of sporty options. The GS 400 featured the most notable powerplant, a 400ci V8 producing 340 horsepower. Subtle styling updates included a cleaner grille, new taillights, and subtle badging that set it apart from standard models.
This GS 400 Convertible has been in the seller's family since 2002, and it is finished in red with a white convertible top over reupholstered black vinyl seats. Equipment includes 14" Rallye wheels, a wood-rimmed steering wheel, an alarm system with a GPS locator, and and Alpine audio system linked to aftermarket speakers.
The 400ci V8 was overhauled in 2021, and it's equipped with an aluminum radiator and a Holley four-barrel carburetor. A four-speed automatic transmission delivers power to the rear wheels. (Detailed invoices showing the work performed as part of the engine overhaul are shown in the gallery.)
This 1967 Buick GS 400 Convertible is now offered with removed parts, a car cover, a service book, service records, and a clean California title in the seller’s name.
