Description
The 1966 Ford Bronco marked the debut year of Ford’s compact four-wheel-drive utility vehicle, offered with a short wheelbase, removable top, and a ladder-frame chassis designed for off-road use. Early Broncos are known for their simple mechanical layout and strong aftermarket support, making them popular platforms for modification.
This 1966 example is powered by a 302ci V8 equipped with an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor and aluminum intake manifold, paired with a three-speed manual transmission. Additional equipment includes a Ron Davis aluminum radiator, HEI distributor, long-tube headers, and a ceramic-coated Magnaflow exhaust system. The drivetrain features a Dana 20 transfer case along with a Ford 9-inch rear and Dana 44 front axles.
The truck is finished in red over a black interior and rides on 17-inch Centerline aluminum wheels wrapped in Toyo Open Country mud-terrain tires. Additional features include power steering, power-assisted front disc brakes, Warn locking front hubs, tubular front and rear bumpers, a custom roll cage, and both a full soft top and bikini top. Inside, you'll find a custom two-tone bench seat, brushed stainless steel door panels, a tilting steering column, upgraded steering wheel, and a Sony in-dash CD stereo with a subwoofer and weather-resistant speakers.
This nicely-upgraded Bronco is now offered on dealer consignment with both tops and a clean North Carolina title.
