Introduced as a standalone model in 1966, the Chevrolet Caprice became the flagship of Chevrolet’s full-size lineup, positioned above the Impala and Bel Air. The Caprice name had first appeared in 1965 as a luxury trim package for the Impala, but growing demand for premium features led Chevrolet to elevate it to its own series the following year.

The 1966 Caprice featured distinctive styling cues, including a formal roofline on the two-door hardtop, which Chevrolet called the "Sport Coupe," plus unique grille and taillight designs, as well as upscale interior appointments such as wood-grain accents and plush fabrics. Buyers could choose from a range of body styles, including a four-door hardtop, two-door hardtop, and a six- or nine-passenger station wagon.

The opulence continued with Aztec Bronze paint and contrasting Cameo Beige vinyl top over a Bronze vinyl bucket seat interior. It shows approximately 91,600 miles, believed to be actual, and is in well preserved original condition throughout.
