“A station wagon with the stamina of a truck…a truck with the convenience and easy ride of a station wagon.” The 1965 Chevrolet Suburban continued to improve on the Suburban’s growing reputation, blending utility with emerging family-friendly design.
As part of the fifth generation of Chevy carryall-type vehicles, it retained its rugged, truck-based roots but introduced a more refined, wagon-like body style. Built on the K10 series chassis, the 1965 model featured a two-door configuration with seating for up to eight passengers, making it ideal for both work and family use. It offered rear-wheel or four-wheel drive configurations, and came with a range of inline-six and V8 engines backed by manual and automatic transmission options.
Today, the best way to experience a classic Suburban is modified for modern performance. This ’65 Suburban 4x4 is so equipped: it’s been refinished in two-tone white and red, with red bumpers and aftermarket chrome wheels. The interior features gray cloth upholstery, a full suite of factory and aftermarket gauges, a custom steering wheel, and an upgraded stereo system. And a modified 454ci big-block V8 sends torque through a three-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case, providing improved passing power and all-terrain capability.
This 1965 Chevrolet Suburban Carryall 4x4 is now offered on consignment by the selling dealer with a clean Florida title.
