Description
The 1964 Ford Falcon marked the second generation of Ford’s compact car, introduced to offer affordable, efficient transportation for American families. Featuring a cleaner, more modern design than its predecessor, the ’64 Falcon offered improved suspension, better handling, and a wider range of body styles—including sedans, wagons, convertibles, and the sporty Sprint models. It could be equipped with lively V8 engines, which helped broaden its appeal beyond economy‑minded buyers. The Falcon also served as the platform for the first Ford Mustang, introduced later in 1964, giving it an important place in automotive history.
This 1964 Falcon Sprint Convertible is said to have remained with its current owner for four decades, and it wears refinished blue paint contrasted with a white soft top. The 260ci V8 sends power to the rear wheels through a two-speed automatic transmission, and stopping power is provided by drums at each corner. Inside, front bucket seats and a rear bench are upholstered in blue vinyl that extends to the door panels and convertible top boot. Service in 2025 is reported to have included replacement of the wiring harness and fuse box, along with the fuel tank and fuel pump.
This 1964 Ford Falcon Sprint Convertible is now offered with a top boot, a book, and a clean California title in the seller’s name.
