Description

OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE

The 1962 Triumph TR3B marked the final evolution of Triumph’s long‑running TR3 series. Built primarily for the U.S. market, it served as a transitional model while Triumph prepared for production of the TR4. Visually, it closely resembled the TR3A, maintaining its cut‑down doors and classic roadster styling. Produced in limited numbers, the TR3B effectively bridged old and new Triumph engineering, offering enhanced performance with classic style.

This 1962 TR3B is powered by a 1991cc inline four fed by dual SU carburetors and paired with a four-speed manual transmission. Finished in red paint, a carbon-fiber-look red vinyl wrap has been applied to the body panels, while a replacement black convertible top with removable side curtains is fitted along with 15” knock-off wire spoke wheels. Inside, low-back bucket seats reupholstered in pleated black vinyl with white piping are complemented by a wood-rimmed steering wheel and shift knob. The seller reports that recent service included installing a rack and pinion front suspension, as well as replacing the brakes and wheel cylinders.

This 1962 TR3B is offered at no reserve with side curtains and a California title in the seller’s name.
