Description
The 1960 Chevrolet Bel Air station wagons represent the final year of Chevrolet’s second-generation full-size platform, featuring a long-wheelbase body style that has become a popular foundation for custom builds. Wagons of this era are noted for their expansive proportions and distinctive styling, making them frequent candidates for extensive customization.
This example is a heavily modified Bel Air Kingswood built by members of the Locos Banditos custom car collective and features custom paintwork by Kyle Gann of K-Daddyz Kustomz, along with Ron Beam of Beam Brothers Creative Paint & Pinstriping. Power is provided by a custom-built 409ci V8 fed by dual four-barrel carburetors and paired with a Turbo Hydra-Matic 400 automatic transmission. The wagon rides on an AccuAir air suspension system and is equipped with four-wheel power disc brakes, as well as power rack-and-pinion steering. Additional features include a reupholstered interior with white bench seats and purple accents, an Alpine audio system, and extensive cosmetic and chassis modifications throughout.
This one-of-a-kind 1960 Chevrolet Bel Air Kingswood is now offered on dealer consignment with a clean North Carolina title.
