Description
OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE
Willys introduced the CJ-3B in the early ‘50s as an evolution of its rugged civilian "Jeep" line, building on the proven military-derived formula with updated mechanical components and a taller hood to accommodate the F-head “Hurricane” engine. Known for its simplicity, durability, and unmistakable upright styling, the CJ-3B quickly found use in agriculture, utility work, and government service, while also becoming a favorite among off-road enthusiasts. Today, these Jeep are celebrated for their mechanical simplicity, offering a pure vintage 4x4 experience.
This '58 Willys Jeep was reportedly originally used as a border patrol vehicle prior to the seller's acquisition. Under current ownership, the body and frame were reportedly separated, and the Jeep was refinished in its current seafoam green over beige fabric. Its 134ci inline-four is said to have been overhauled, and it supplies power to the rear or all four wheels through a three-speed manual transmission and a two-speed transfer case. Work has also been performed on the four-wheel-drive system.
This 1958 Willys CJ-3B is now offered at no reserve in Alabama with a clean Arizona title in the seller's name.
