Ownership History

Research indicates that the restoration of this 1954 Chevrolet Corvette was completed in the year 2000. It garnered an AACA First Prize at the Hershey Fall Meet in 2000 under the ownership of David L Whitchurch and is said to have won an NCRS Gold award the same year before eventually attending another successful AACA event in 2001. Sold by a Connecticut collector in 2013 it entered the Gateway Automobile Museum Collection as a prime example of both 1950s Americana and design but as a very early example of America’s Sports Car.
