Description

The 1953 Chevrolet 210, also known as the Two-Ten, marked a pivotal moment in post-war American automotive history. Introduced as a midrange model between the budget-friendly 150 and the upscale Bel Air, the 210 replaced the Styleline DeLuxe and quickly became Chevrolet’s best-selling car in 1953 and ’54.

Designed with affordability and style in mind, the 210 featured a wide array of body styles, including sedans, coupes, convertibles, and station wagons. It offered chrome trim, deluxe interior appointments, and optional features like heaters, radios, and the Powerglide automatic transmission. Under the hood, the standard offering a 235ci inline-six engine, available in two variants: the 108 horsepower “Thrift-King” and the 115 horsepower “Blue Flame.”

Acquired by the seller approximately 10 years ago, this 210 Club Coupe originally left the factory finished in Horizon Blue over Light/Dark Blue patterned cloth upholstery. It has since been refinished in metallic blue over a reupholstered beige interior. Power is provided by a rebuilt 235ci inline-six mated to a replacement 1955 model column-shifted three-speed manual transmission and rear end. The engine is fed by dual carburetors fitted to a Fenton intake manifold, while exhaust exits through dual Fenton manifolds and glasspack mufflers.

This upgraded 210 is now offered with two keys and a clean California title in the seller’s name.
