Description

OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE

The Willys-Overland Jeep Station Wagon of the late 1940s and early 1950s helped establish the Jeep brand as a leader in utilitarian, go‑anywhere vehicles. Known for their rugged steel bodies, simple mechanicals, and iconic upright styling, these early Willys models have since become popular platforms for creative custom builds. Their stout frames and straightforward layouts lend themselves well to modernization, making them ideal candidates for customizers.

This modified 1950 Willys‑Overland began life as a Jeep Station Wagon before being converted under previous ownership into an extended cab pickup. Acquired by the seller in 2025, the truck is finished in purple with off‑white side coves over gray upholstery and is powered by a 350 cubic-inch V8 from BluePrint Engines paired with a four‑speed automatic transmission. The custom build features a Mustang II‑style independent front suspension, power rack‑and‑pinion steering, front disc brakes, air conditioning, power windows, digital instrumentation, and a Pioneer audio system. The conversion included repositioning the wagon’s rear window to form the cab glass, adapting the wagon tailgate for truck use, and fabricating a bed with a carpeted liner and bright runners.

This 1950 Willys‑Overland Jeep Pickup Conversion is now offered at no reserve with recent service records, a bed cover, and a clean South Carolina title in the seller's name.

Ownership History

From the seller: “We purchased this Jeep from Streetside Classics and was said to have been built around 2016 by Willys-Overland Motors in Scranton, Pennsylvania. I don’t have documentation beyond the representative’s word, but everything on the car works as it should—including the power windows, cold air conditioning, and all the modern upgrades like the Bluetooth radio.

We’ve owned it for about a year, and everywhere we take it, people compliment it and ask to snap photos. It drives incredibly smooth, has great sound and performance, and has been garage-kept since we bought it. We performed one oil change after the break‑in period ourselves. Honestly, the Willys could be a daily driver. And one of our favorite details? The classic old‑fashioned ‘ahooga’ horn—though don’t worry, there’s a standard horn on the steering wheel too!”

Included

  • Two matching purple camping chairs

  • One Willy's baseball cap

  • Velcro bed cover
