Description

The Jaguar XK120, forged from the rubble of post-war Britian, became one of the most sought-after vehicles of all time. It was the perfect marriage of technology and style: its dual-overhead-cam, inline six cylinder produced 160 horsepower. And its William Lyons-designed body, sculpted to resemble 1940s Mille Miglia racecars, was stunning. The only thing more impressive than its world-record 125-mph top speed was the public’s enthusiastic reaction: Jaguar’s proposed 200-car run swelled to over 12,000 during its 1949-1954 production. Today, XK120s are highly coveted, and highly valuable.

However, owning a well-built replica is a fun, affordable way to enjoy the classic Jaguar experience. This two-owner Eagle Coach Work Inc 1950 XK120 tribute sits on a Ford Mustang II chassis, and is powered by a modified, fuel-injected, Ford V8.

The fiberglass body is four inches wider than stock, and features a removable top and windows, side wind deflectors, full bumpers, period-look Lucas headlamps, chrome luggage rack, and a grille-mounted Jaguar emblem. The interior looks vintage as well, with a wood steering wheel, a wood dash housing period-look gauges, and a manual-appearing automatic shifter. It’s a top-down, ’50s motoring experience you don’t want to miss.
