Description

The final major upgrade for the WC series of four-wheel drive Dodge trucks was the progression to a three-quarter ton classification in 1942. Of this new generation of trucks, none played a more important role in saving both military and civilian lives than the WC-54 Ambulances. Primarily used in both the European and Pacific theaters of World War II, these WC-54 ambulances also served in the Korean War, as well as into the late 1960s with numerous European allies' armies. A remarkably roomy vehicle was crewed by a driver and medic, with room for up to six seated patients or four when utilizing all of the stretchers.

The Military Collection

The five trucks on offer today all come from a single collection that is focused on preserving military history. This selection of trucks served vital roles with the US Military in both theaters of World War II. Today they are offered in restored condition, eager to partake in a parade, reenactment, or any other gathering of military vehicles.
