Description

Ford described its 1939 two-door coupe as “fine for business or personal use,” and stressed that — with a starting price of $599 — it was its most economical new car. As it turned out, the stripped-down standard coupe (and similar Ford models) also became a popular canvas for street rodders. The swooping lines, the extended grilles, and the chrome accents looked great in period and still do today.

Unlike the original factory coupe, no expense has been spared to create this attractive and powerful street rod, which is powered by a LT1 Corvette engine and has new and improved components throughout.
