Description

OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE

Ford replaced the ubiquitous Model T with the substantially more advanced Model A in 1928. The new model debuted a host of significant improvements, namely its “L-head” inline-four cylinder engine which boasted increased displacement and an output of 40 horsepower – double that of the Model T. The A also adopted a more conventional layout of driver controls, which included a clutch pedal and gear shift lever controlling the new three-speed manual transmission. In 1931, the final model year of the Model A before being succeeded by the Model 18, Ford introduced a luxurious new two-door closed coupe called the Victoria. Distinguished by its slanted windshield and “bustle-back” rear end, the Victoria could be had with either cloth or steel topped form. This particular Victoria benefits from an attractive frame-off restoration in two-tone burgundy and black over tan broadcloth upholstery and features numerous period-correct accessories.
