Description

Built in 1923, this Ford Model T Runabout wears a charming older restoration in red with a black vinyl top over a black vinyl bench seat. An array of exterior equipment including Hayes painted wire wheels, a windshield-mounted spotlight, a brass side view mirror, and a rear-mounted spare tire complement the Roadster’s overall appearance. Its 20horsepower “L-head” inline four-cylinder engine is mated to a planetary transmission, joined by a desirable Ruckstell two-speed rear axle for additional low-end torque and higher top speeds allowing for greater touring abilities on modern roads. This Runabout is additionally well equipped with the optional Ford Starting and Lighting System which consists of an electric starting motor, generator, six-volt battery, ammeter, and headlights for a more usable Model T.
