The Ram 1500 TRX arrived in 2021 but it hit its stride as one of the most celebrated performance trucks in history during the 2022 model year. Born from Ram’s desire to dethrone the Ford F-150 Raptor, engineers turned to a supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI V8 engine borrowed from the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat, producing a thunderous 702 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque.

The name “TRX" is a not-so-subtle nod to the T-Rex dinosaur — a predator evolved to dominate the Raptor. With a 0–60 mph time of around 4.5 seconds, it was one of the quickest production trucks ever built. Off-road capability matched its straight-line fury, featuring 13 inches of suspension travel, Bilstein Black Hawk e2 adaptive shocks, and 35-inch all-terrain tires.

If the standard TRX isn’t predator enough, the TRX Ignition Edition includes Orange accent stitching for interior, TRX Ignition Edition graphics, spray-in bedliner, dual-pane panoramic sunroof, leather-wrapped/carbon fiber steering wheel, 18-inch black-painted aluminum wheels with machined-face accents, and more. This Ignition Edition also features Ignition Orange paint unique to this model and had traveled less than 13,000 miles.
